We are a community organization whose sole purpose is convincing the City of San Diego to enact laws preventing individuals and entities from owning more than 2 single-family homes.
Anyone putting in their hard work, trying to make a decent life for themselves, should be able to purchase a home at a fair price. Real estate investors, whether they be institutional or individual, are preventing home ownership by purchasing the affordable market homes and renting them out for a profit.
Our city government can immediately halt the negative impact of these real estate investors by preventing institutions and individuals from owning more than 2 homes.
Our purpose is to prevent individuals and entities from being able to purchase more than 2 homes by enacting laws that directly prevent them from doing so. In order to enact these laws, we will need to promote our ideas to our neighbors, politicians, and governing bodies, and then promote any politicians who support our goal.
We will limit our activity to achieving our single purpose, which will allow us to stay focused, be effective, and reach a broader audience. Partisan politics is not necessary and is not permitted in any meeting or activity. Related concepts are not necessary to our purpose and their promotion is not permitted in any meeting or activity.
